Best place to get steel wheels?

Daughter car has alloys on it. They’ve never been the best, roads round here are killing then. As per title where’s the best place to get 4 steel rims and tyres. Looked at Oponeo, wondered if there is better places to get them from

I once had a car with 21" alloys and 35 profile tyres.

Local scrappy? Last set of 4 for a focus cost me £20 a few years ago but they needed cleaned up and painted or plastic covers to hide the rust.

I found camskill.co.uk to be the cheapest for tyres when i was looking for a set of 205 55/16 end of last year but you'll need to arrange fitting yourself.

For steels on a vehicle like that its probably going to be Fiesta van wheels+tyres, may be the same overall diameter but unlikely to be the same size/profile. Get the nuts as well.

Happy to take a trip to demolition autos (or anywhere local here) to pick any wheels you want up Al.

Not sure about lug nut patterns, but try searching Caravan wheels as a source. Worth a try.

Not met many females that care about what they drive personally

Definitely cheaper running steel wheels with a high profile tyre. Than as you've already mentioned alloys with low profile tyres

I agree with you

But you haven't seen the kids in the village at home. Boys and Girls, all fancy small cars with big rims. Way more savvy than us lot
