Mirex buckle, used with 5mm Ligarex strapping.

They also do an expensive tool for tightening them up. The trouble with using a narrow screwdriver is you can nick the pipe

That’s it, when we used them, we took the strip around once, through the gap in the clip, around again & through the split pin & cut off. Then wound up tight with the split pin as a winch, so the strip went around twice to get extra tension. We never used them on anything as small as the picture, more as a “fit all” clip carried on the van. This was when I worked for BT, or GPO in those days, it’s going back 40 years when I was on the tools though. Be interesting to see if they are still used.So it works a bit like opening a tin of Spam? You feed the strip through and the split pin acts as a winch?

Dare I say it ....... have a word with one of the Openreach cable guys, they met still have the odd bits around. I expect they went out with the Ark, but one of the older guys might know what you are talking about. Whether they are the size you want I don’t know.they were used by Citroen and Mercedes in the 60’s
I’m restoring a rare mercedes Benz and the clips are unique to say the least
I found a few places that list the clamps, if you search for cotter pin hose clamp, split pin hose clamp, oeb split pin hose clamp
