Slightly sharpened broom handle down the forks to hold the dampers in place might work. I think the factory tool is similar but metal with a four sides point.I made a mess.heap airgun is no match for a spinningg damper rods with a siezed stainless bolts. Any ideas before I try to drill it out? I say try, because it spins very free.

You need a tool to hold the damper rod. Most have a 12 sided relief like the end of a spanner.
The damper rods in my GN125 forks were 17mm so a bolt welded to some steel bar worked for me.

Its not so simple on this one as the damper rod adjuster is the full length of the forks. I imagine a hollow tube and a hex head would work, but I have no idea what size.

Exactly the same as us currently, have 2 sets of pallets at different farms, the amazone system where the wheels stay in the spreader is tidy.

Part One.
Last Thursday I acquired some nice bits.
But due to a "Thumb war," in which I lost I was nobbled. I was slowed down and forced to make slow adaptations to my work plans.
@MikeBB1970 sent this nice, but old Fret Saw.
Complete, but rusty. Oddly it was covered with something that made the water act like it was on a waxed surface.
So it was placed in water and washing up liquid and boiled.
Then using a lot of clamps and other ways to hold it. So power tools could be used.
Hand methods were used as well.
Maybe I do need a sand blaster.......
The paint was applied by hand, over rattle can primer.
New blades fitted and the ease it cut some nice curves in wood was very nice.
I will invest into some "Piercing saw" blades"
@barking mat was kind enough to send be some gasket paper, so I carried on with "Slow" project of rebuilding a Braodwell pump.
This is how I left the pump, in need of many parts on the inside.
I also acquired some wood.
What gave me another idea.
Hand tools again I ripped, cut and planed own the oak into some useful sizes for me.
It was very nice to use hand tools again and relearn the old ways I used at school.
Marked up and drilled to allow the motor to move and adjust to tension the belt. (On order). The base is slotted and the RHS narrow bit is not fixed, it is just there to support the rear of the motor frame.
Fitted and waiting on a belt.
The wood was French polished and waxed. The mess, behind, has been tidied up.

Part 2.
This tired old railway lantern was a mess.
The base fell off, a red curved glass missing, glass frames bent, bad conversion to a modern "Foreign" wick and tank. The handle was glued on. The glass was fitted with way to much silicon and some nasty paint.
After sitting in hot caustic soda most of the 5 layers of paint came off.
This is the lead solder repairs. The base was sweated on, the lens holder was soldered on and the handle was as well. Plus a few smaller repairs.
A lot of the dents were dressed out. But the in a lot of cases the thin metal was stretched.
This was removed, it is not original, as it was brazed in, as was the front lower ring . The fuel tank came up a treat. The reflector is meant to be adjustable, but the frame is far to gone. I think when some tried to restore it, they ripped it out. So I polished up a bit of alloy and glued it on.
Hand painted over rattle can primer.
Yes, it is a B&D sanding pad, holding the brass bezel. The metal was thin, cracked and badly distorted. The cracks were soft soldered up, inside the curve.
Assembled, in satin black. The distortion and missing metal on the base ring is clear. The inner ring, holding the tank is another modern addition. I had to make it into a circle and dress things around to make it look appeasing to the eye.
The curved glass frame had to be bent and silver soldered up to allow it to move freely. Then the glass was puttied into place.
Done.
The front glass was puttied into place and cleaned. The brass ring is fitted in the wrong place . But it was a compromise. The glass is 4 mm to small so it was a case of fiddle the glass to fit, round the damaged sect. Then it was soldered on.

the last bit of shared property roof to be done weve taken the broken back out of the roof as nothing but trouble
the insides are redesigned and made better

Had a go at some cardboard aided design for a odd job today.
My sandblaster is now in a permenant home next to a workbench however every time the door opens a little bit of media falls onto the table and onto the floor where there is no table.
Got the rough shape of the extention and size , Tacked in place with some tape to see how it fitted up and seemed alright.
Cut out in ply with the jigsaw.
Then was offered up and a strut added below screwed into the wood and the workbench to hold it. Wasnt going to have much if any load on more to catch the media.
Then masking taped a little gap inbetween the cabinet and table to stop any tiny bits falling through so know it should all be contained for easy hoover cleanup

Today I made a 200lb flypress body move from my car, in the street, to a four foot high bench in the garden, under my own steam. No photos I'm afraid, it was too stressful. Anyone that's been to my place will know how complicated it was.

Actually it was only 3 feet high, but felt higher. It must weigh about 125kg all up with the bits back on it.
