I take it the need is to glue the plastic parts nearest to the camera together, and not include the part behind in the joint, which I presume is part of the adjustment mechanism, in which case, forget it. The nearest you might get to a joint with reasonable strength is Devcon Devweld 531, but it's 'orrible stuff, and not for a neat joint. A lot of these plastics parts rely on reinforcing fillers for added strength, and no glue is going to make up for that.

I recently saw a few video's on a product called Bondic, Developed on the same theme as dental adhesive, Cured virtually instantly by UV light, Claimed to be ultra strong, I have not used it so have ne personal experience,

Apparently the Bondic kit comes with it's own UV small light source, then extra tubes of the adhesive are available when needed,

I listened to a pair of Beats once.... it was like listening to a party going on next door. 
The worst headphones I’ve ever listened to but my mate raved about them.
What about trying Airfix type model cement? Suppose it would depend on the type of plastic it is.

Completely agree, sadly most people haven't or dont listen to music on decent systems anymore, if you are used to listening to crap music on a phone speaker then I guess Beats headphones must sound good

Put a patch over the gap, a bridging piece , made of aluminium. Attach with tiny little self tappers, and some good stuff like Sikaflex (291 I think ? )
If you have the patience for such fiddly repairs..and the eyesight..t's a satisfying way of 'beating the system'.
