I made the garage a bit brighter, and also now have light over the workbench. Now have an old 6ft single strip light tovget rid of.

I bought it on eBay last year but had a lot of issues with the first one I was sent so it had to go back while they made me a new one with a square and true frame.
I haven’t had a chance to start using it yet but I have many plans.

Made this patch repair part for a ladder step corner this morning
Used some 1.5mm sheet metal I recovered from an old gate months ago
Stick welded after gave it a shape using vise hands and hammer
Used my inverter set at 60A and 2.5mm 6013
Little of grinding and polishing using a flap disc
I will weld it in place on this afternoon if everything goes as should go

Had not enough time to repair the ladder step
But I've ended up making a new floor patch for it
Tomorrow hopefully I should have time to remove the old welds (I've already repaired it 3 years ago but I wasn't able to weld thin sheet metal so it's little rough to see)
So it will be prettier to see

Made this thing today because I was thinking to repair the ladder step but I couldn't because logistics (my mother washed a lot of t-shirts ,and the ladder requires a lot of grinding )
So I couldn't kill my welding desire today and I figured out to make this useful tool
Used two pieces of flat stock (20x8mm) from the scrap bin
Chamfered both sides leaving 1mm landing
Welded using 2.5mm 7018 just because I like to run LH rods and I didn't use them since a month or two cos everything I welded in this period of time required using 6013
Set my inverter around 100A and to be honest it was little bit hot but I am to lazy to dial the welder 5 or 10A less
So I left little bit of undercut but I think that it's also because my manipulation
So now it's your task to understand what I made just for Jocking little bit since today is Saturday and I am the only guy in this world that doesn't go to the disco

Was a bit bored today so I took a slug of titanium I’ve had for years to visit a friend with a big lathe. He faced it off and put a radius on the edge.
Couple of hours with progressively finer wet n dry then finished of with some paste, finally some compound on a buffing wheel and I have this
Underneath I stamped out some rubber pads to make some non slip feet. Glued on with Evostick
It’s a “Thing” to keep in the kitchen to bang things on
It’s to go with this titanium hammer I made a few years ago. Sold head and tube handle
