Carry my pocket knife with me most of the time! You don't realise how much you actually use it. Leave it at home when going out for a few drinks, As some pubs are more strict than others + I have no reason to carry it, As I don't have the intent to use it for the wrong reasons

Only knife I carry regularly is a Stanley knife.
Serves my needs for work perfectly .

They were, usually stitched to the lower leg. My uncle gave me one a while back. Unfortunately without the canvas holder.
Complete they fetch good money

In my tool bag I carry a hultafors craftsman’s knife I bought from Sweden quite a few years back now. I wouldn’t carry it on my person if not in work as it’s a fixed blade but hugely useful, and keeps a really really sharp edge.
Other than that then I have a leatherman wave which I use for camping etc, or a couple of opinel pen knives, plus a couple of Swiss Army knives around the house. Oh and a mora kniv bushcraft, another which keeps a great edge - those swedes certainly know how to make blades!

Some of you know I sell knives and this is the massive irony. If I sell a small locking pen knife to somebody it is really easy to take it home, they have a "good reason", they just bought it and they are taking it home. After that it does become a little difficult but if you are "about the farm with it in your pocket" that is easy to justify and even more so as you are on your own property.
However, if you are wandering about town with a Machete you could quite easily justify this if you were on your way to chop down the overgrown grass at your grandmothers. (around here they are always being used to cut down overgrown "grass") It is a tool you see and easily identifiable as such so if you were stopped it is far easier to argue your case for a machete over a lock knife. Yes, I am not happy about it either. If you are under eighteen all bets are off.

Not worth carrying a knife in Uk regardless of size/folding/locking, most cops don’t know the in’s and outs of knife laws and only know the first sentence "any article which has a blade or is sharply pointed" in a public place.
Sadly although its your right to carry a sub 3inch non locking folder except school grounds etc, you need to consider if its worth your day being ruined going to jail and a several month letter writing battle with the CPS and hiring a lawyer. Seen a few guys go through this nonsense with legal knifes. Would love to carry a pen knife but not willing to put up with any PC shiney buttons ruining my day/year.

Spoons can be deadly. There was a very nasty incident in Cardiff prison where a low risk prisoner was put in a cell with a maniac. He gouged out his eye and heart with a spoon and ate them.
The "poor" prison warders who found him were given massive payouts for the stress - the family got nothing
The laws and the idiots who uphold them are a farce.
A mates dad had his small swiss army knife taken off him going on a ferry. We were going to pick up a boat and were carrying flares and all sorts! Mates dad was a 65yr old frail preacher.
Common sense vanished years ago.

Didn't he get cuffed/arrested over that? Hadn't he been using them on a hedge at the time too??
I thought that there must be more to these types of stories, maybe he turned aggressive when the cops spoke to him for example.
I dunno, it is worrying though, seen that 'Crimebodge' channel on YouTube? Cops not actually knowing the law in many cases/subjects.
Luckily for us, Re-enactment is a valid reason for carrying a blade ( read big FO sword) Most people in re=enactment are the sensible type and the police don't bother us too much. Firearms have to have their correct paperwork with them at all times, as they tend to get checked at most big events.

Another law that scares me is the legal limit for air rifles. 12ftlbs. In the past it didn't matter so much but now there is a minimum 5yrs for any firearms offence.
You could buy a 2nd hand air rifle. If it got checked out and was found to be 13 or 14ft lbs you could get 5 years in jail

It is recommended to always check your air rifles with a chrono and adjust if necessary.
My r10 is 11.7ftlbs with jsb heavys so any other pellet is under that.
A chrono now is sub £50 so no reason not to check

I would be a bit careful to just assume that.
Test out a range of pellets.
I had a few HW100's and the heavier pellets gave the least ftlbs.
