Once you reach the level of being able to buy one you’re at the level of the type of person that doesn’t open their own door
Is there an App for that?

If only everyone had a diesel generator.not many places at the mo you can get them charged up at . one at leeds the other scotch corner on the a66 and one at a b and b near yarm I put the power in for
Tesla cars really eco friendly when you look at the service life and raw materials that go into it not to mention as already stated all the needless things that go into motors for everything and weight and size
They are a fashion statement no different to any other high end car it just let's people think they can take the moral high ground
If you want to see a realistic car that is being designed with every thought towards being eco friendly from removal of pointless accessories to a body shell with a life span of 40 years then look at this company British too
Really trying to look the future

Why do all car manufacturers have to make the elextric versions look so odd though! The posh tesla is the only proper EV that looks like a car!
It is interesting though. I deal with this a lot through my institution. There is a report that has been produced (and I know that reports can be made to say anything) that analyses the "well to wheel" cost of an electric car including a mid-life battery swap and compares the environmental savings (bear in mind these electric motors use a lot of rare earth metals that are mined in a very human/environment unfriendly way and it concludes that over the life the petrol engined car is better on the environment!

If check out my link it goes into great detail on this on the website about the need the reduce the emissions over the life of the vehicle rather than just the road time hence long life bodyshells and all components able to be refurbished rather than scrap and start again
I think that tbh landrover defenders have the potential to be be very environmentally friendly interns that they have an infinite life span and can forever be recycled

Tesla batteries take more off the planet to mine and make than a real car
I hate them simple as really
Mine is powered by a large amount of my smugness and a large amount of my spare solar generation, which makes me more smug.Electric cars can be powered by the drivers sense of self righteous smugness.
When you give the old one back after the 2yr pcp deal they sell it to someone else, exactly the same as they do with a regular car...And the people who can afford them are the sort of people will get a new one every 1-2 years whether they need it or not so creating even more polution in their eco friendly transport

Your post made it seem like they were just scrapped after 2 years...Yes, my point exactly
Neither will an EV, don’t know where you got that idea from...But a regular car won’t loose 25% of its engine out put
No smugness needed in a real car
If you love the planet that much do you have the lights on at home
