Cut seat out to-day and formed dimples now ready for folding.

very nice sam. how did you cut it out?

I cut it out using a Jig saw with a large tooth blade and WD40 for lubrication punched the holes and touched up with a file. Then gave it a deburr with a noga deburring blade.
Tried snips and an air shear but they were hopeless.

Yes cut these with sisors and a scalpel!

Managed to get my seat folded to-day never achieved anything else, spent most of my time getting Christinas car to my mates garage and get new brake pipes made.

Seat is now starting to take shape! Trying to get as much as poss done the next few days as my mate is taking delivery of Murray Greirson's Metro. It's a mid engine rear wheel drive based on the 6R4 so may have to do a few bits on that to be ready for Charter Hall rally this Saturday the 4th should be fun.

Have all the floor pan tabs welded in and fire wall sorted so it is now a rolling chassis.

The west coast of Scotland has far superior scenery i.m.o. also far too many people for my liking not to mention was charged £6.40 for a Guinness and a bottle of lager. Weather has been great up untill yesterday had first bbq on Sunday wather was excellent for four days down to the shorts it was that warm, looks like you have missed out on the summer this year!

A wee village 5min walk from Keswick Port something lovely place and scenery but prefer up north as I said too many people in one place for my liking.

Count yourself lucky. I've just got back from holiday and was charged €7 for a pint of Amstel on a regular basis! Wasn't even a proper pint either; only 500ml. Cans of Coke at €3.40 were pretty reasonable too...
