Went to get a tube of mastic from screwfix and there was a huuuuuge Milwaukee lorry demonstrating the new range. Got a free burger and a cuppa for giving them half hour of my time. Result!!
They're really pushing the milwaukee tools,
My sister said she gets points for each one she sells.
Make sure she doesn't sell too many, 12 points and she's banned
I always check, out of interest what the AMERICAN TOOLS COST IN THE STATES.....suprisingly cheap quite often.........
when I came back I brought a lot of Makita tools.....all worn out now tho......Makita has an assembly plant in Calif........
She actually failed her test today
Its nonsense though, how are you supposed to upsell a £200 drill?
and some steroids to help you lift itIt was the chap that was training the staff I was more concerned with he was obviously a pt in the army with the way he screamed at them. The other chap letting everyone else have a play with there tools was really nice
Iv got a few Milwaukee bits and there ten times better than dewalt plus there soon to release a 14ah battery
if it was to be used for tapping (a common use at my last place):
"do you need dies with that"?
"super size me"Other way around though,
'Would you like a £200 drill to go with those dies?'
Do they honour the warranty over here? Heard horror stories about other brands stating that they weren’t made for the UK market so the warranty wasn’t validI brought some of there brush less 18v stuff back from the states its great kit
