Nice to see someone interested enough in the job to pay for their own training but shame the Co will not help in any way ?
which course are you going for
I have already got my level 3 diploma and welding fabrication ,its just turning it into an NVQ to say iv been apprentice trained/time served ,its around 2k but on student finance il pay it back monthly ,i really do want to better myself
Ask the training provider if there is any help financially, they will know, you may even be able to offset against your income tax, dont know.
I might also add your employer is obviously quite short sighted, by not developing employees, you wee wee them off till they find an employer that will. Trained, motivated and qualified staff should be considered an asset, not a cost saving holding them back
That's amazing buddy good luck I would love to pay for my qualifications but my company won't allow it I don't have any formal qualifications to expand on
It's not that they feel I've done there in house stuff and I do the job. So in there eyes why use work time to gain something else u already do although I hate what I do at the moment I've lost interest at the moment I'm trying to find something else in a different field of welding actually working to improve my qualifications is the motivation I need to keep my interest
Welder fabricator in structural steel as my day job and repair skips buckets other things in my personal work wanna get my **** in to either Tig welding or pipe welding
