I’m a tight git and won’t pay for it either. I’m not good with IT but now I’ve got it sussed, it’s easy to create folders for different genres of music. Simples Sergi !!!

It also allows the water to boil at 55C rather than 100C - much safer

When I had my “big” setup (now relegated to loft ) I spent money on decent rca cable, connectors and speaker cable. I’m fairly certain silver/rhondium coated mains cables make naff all difference

Like keeping the speaker wires off the floor on wooden blocks.....

Some people do.
Even the Linn Lingo from 1990, was / is an inverter supply to to run the AC turntable motor with a cleaner AC supply.

Best system I ever heard was years ago at a show where this old guy was playing a record through a pair of stacked Quad electrostatics directly driven by a high voltage 3 phase valve amplifier.
Still remember the record - Friday Night in San Fransisco
The power was from a 3 phase generator driven by a single phase motor! (To clean up the mains supply apparently.)

Then they could sell you a stabilised voltage regulator that guarantees 12.000001 volts for £5k
