After some advice on set up of 16amp supply in my garage.
I'm looking at either an R-tech 180 MIG or a Parweld xte 181 (decided against the bigger 201).
The garage is supplied from the main split load RCD CU in the house and it sits on a 40a MCB. Can't remember what size cable the sparks ran from the main CU to the garage but can check (whatever it was it passed the NICEIC test)
The Garage has its own 6 way CU which currently has a small ring main and the lighting ring on it so I have ways to spare. There is no RCD fitted to this board.
I want to install a 16amp socket for the welder supply and want to.check my design is ok.
Fit a new 20amp type C RCBO to the board and then run 2.5 t+e and wire direct to the commando socket outlet.
