Yeah - it’s proper name was rolled flat plate - Polished on a huge ancient wadkin multi head milling machine, then we bought a new French made cnc machine. (Thibaut) they still use the same rolling process now to make architectural glass (frosted/wired etc) at Pilkington Watson street in St. Helens.called polished plate . now its float glass![]()

We were the only place making it in the uk (to my knowledge at least) and the factory shut down in 2008.Our lead glass comes from France and has a yellowish tinge.
