Hello cobbler, nice work is the little hooks for seed bells or something?

That is the idea, called in the garden centre & the hooks were there to stick into the garden for seed feeders. My wife spotted them & said there'd look a smart addition. A swan neck bend in each & hey presto!

The only thing I wonder, the reinforcing bar upright is quite springy, I have this vision of a pigeon coming in to land a bit hard & "boing" being catapulted off like a aircraft off the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. Only time will tell

I made essentially a huge screwdriver

"Machined" with an angle grinder.

It's to unscrew this;

That disgusting part in the centre with the notch is a bearing race.

Let's hope father Christmas brings me a new road bike rear hub.

Could have saved some time by just chopping a bit of flat bar to the right size but you did a good job anyway and knowing you students it probably kept you off the drink for 20mins so likely worth the extra effort

That was my first thought but I couldn't find a suitable piece of flat.

Morning gents.
Done today welded up the table and fitted the top plate, marked out the drilling pattern and now ready for drilling out the holes. Mostly 100mm spacing although around the perimiter 50mm spacing. Done to save time and if needed will drill all at 50mm spacing. As you can imagine there will be many holes even at 100 spacing. Drilling done with rotabroach and mag drill.

Casters do make it easy to move around, however still quite heavy, top plate is 16mm @360kg legs are 75 by 75 by 5mm so 12meters in that table.

Not made fixed

one if the buttons was knackard so removed one of the ones that was not used to replace the ones that did not work and the power button was pressed in so fixed that but on putting back together found the way the bitten was held in there let the board push back and let the power button get caught so added a bit of hot glue gun to hold it rock steady hope I don't have take it apart again

Finished a box for a camera today.

Also welded a frame for a Porsche 356. 1mm anodized aluminum. Was already cut when I was asked to fix it but I would have cut it further from the corners though.

For the biggest kid. Only driving games I own aren't child friendly really.
Used to spend hours tweaking setups and learning tracks for online league races only to get punted off on turn 3 and race over lol. I struggle with a single screen pc got too used to having 3 widescreen monitors and a 4th 14" above.
Web browser open on one. Word on another emails on the third and a spare. Will make my office time more productive.
Thats what im telling the wife anyway.

Ten glorious minutes ragging a Caterham around nordschliffe and the psu died. Hopefully. Sellers refunding for a new psu and hopefully its fixed. If not the fact it was sold as working and tested when the seller wasnt aware it required mains power, didnt test it and didnt send the psu originally should secure a easy refund. Just my luck atm. New phone to replace one stolen before xmas will only boot if the battery's removed for 15 mins and sellera away till new year. If I had hair....

Good morning gents, completed today. 325 holes, that's enough, mainly 100mm spacing. If I need any more I can drill them when required, was going to do them at 50mm spacing can you imagine. During cleaning I moved the table around, not as easy as initially thought, it does weigh about 400kg

Next job some new form rolls for Donna, this time to suite 76.1mm O/D pipe.
