ok not welding but im looking for any thing that will help me make cleaning the car that bit Easyer

Only tip I can add to make it easy or faster is tools for the clean on the end of your hover I years ago just used the nosle of the hover to pickup the bits but since buying the 3 heads at a cost of 5er well worth the money the head with the stuff brush gets the carp out of the carpet a lot easyer than rubbing back and forth with the hose head mine's got a little extra as can be seen from pick to keep the head from falling out from the side

done that on my old galaxy removed the seats and took out the carpet and jet washed the lot

helped a mate out the other week puttinga new small fence up it had fallen down and had been like it for a few months i offred he accepted beer money for a mate but on picking up the wood it was well saw dusty most of it went in my car that my otherhalf likes to call it the dustcart (old saying)

Air line and blowgun to blow the mud/doghair out of the truck then hit the ford up the road at about 40mph to remove mud underneath, job done

If its a nice car there is a Polish car wash up the road that employs some rather delightful totty, I would sooner watch them clean the car .

One of my customers had a super clean Astra G Merit estate he picked up for peanuts via his Father who worked at a VW dealer taken in as a PX. For about 3 Mot years it was immaculate inside and out and I just gave it a wee vacuum and tidy whilst servicing, then he let his wife and kids use it as a daily. My God I felt sorry for the car and gave it a proper going through saving all the wife & kids stuff in a cardboard box. He was shocked when he saw how clean it was and gave me a good drink on top, the next year he apologised for the mess and said let them stew in it! He has a tidy Golf V now and apologises if its not clean when he turns up.

I can sympathise with this. I used to be pretty good at the cleaning and polishing but since kids..... honestly it’s just not worth the battle at times. I drove the “family” car today for the first time in a while to find a spilt packet of breadsticks trodden into the floor....and this time of year you only seem to go 100 metres before the body and wheels are covered in black crud.

It does mean you really notice it when you give it a wash though!

You are wasting a good growing area - maybe watercress ?

I used to have triffid's growing in a banger I had back in the early 90's on the carpet in it, well they looked like triffid's but about 2" tall. Some kind of fungus.

The car leaked that bad I just drilled holes in the floor so it drained. Wasn't worth spending time fixing.

I use a nice soft paint brush and spray polish to clean the dash it gets in all the corners and behind the awkward bits
