Stack of rebar, any suggestions what I could do with it.

hello all.
I have a pile of rebar sitting around that came from my grandads house and I'm looking for some suggestions what I could use it for.
I did start looking at making a knife as I'd love to have a go at forging but from what I've read it's not the best material for that. So I was thinking some kind of yard art or sculpture but I'm not very creative.
I think the rebar is around 12mm maybe a bit more, and it's probably in around 600mm lengths. It just seems a shame to scrap it but I can't think of a use for it, if anyone wants some I'm in Deeside, north wales.

I tack welded a cube with hanging supports for sacrificial anodes in my electrolysis tank. Works very well and no messy wired connections. Gives good coverage too.

I've used it in large culptures before but more recently to make security bars for a mates tack room and stable

Rebar is good for stuff like tongs and other tools that require a reasonable amount of strength over Ms but not as much as knives etc. 16mm is ideal, I would always put some to one side. Of course it's original form mean little if you have a forge and anvil

I'm thinking some kind of fire basket we can use at the caravan when we are sitting out in the evening.

Be fine once you get it good n hot or run a wire wheel over the stuff

See, you ARE creative . Just need to wait for a need to arise, or inspiration to kick in - often by seeing something and thinking "Oh, hang on....."

There's a LOT of shorter lengths I'm not sure what to do with. I have to walk PAST a skip to get them home.

I nave nabbed all the 3m+ lengths now I'm not sure if there would be any interest in 1-2m sections. Be brilliant for anodes and electrolysis but a right pain if all it ever does is sit there and rust.

I'm the guy filling it. You'll just have to trust me, the best material in there just came out the back end of a dog. The rest is rubbish.

Though if anyone wants a ton of rebagged sand, a ton of (UV degraded) bagged aggregate and half a dozen old bags of cement - give me a ping. it's heading for the skip.
