His earlier stuff was ok, but throwing your toys out because someone asked you a question you didnt like is just ridiculous

He made me hungry watching that, even thinking about it now makes me a bit peckish. Might try it to share at some point though (when we next meet up with friends who can bring up some proper cumberland sausage).

AvE - enj-in-eer from Canada, interesting teardowns of tools and industrial stuff, also hilarious.
ChuckE2009 - mainly welding. Learnt quite a lot from watching this, though he does plug products quite frequently
Crossthreaded (Excellent DIY build of an Exomotive Exocet, love the humour, very Project Binky-like but a husband and wife team who aren't professional car people)
EEVBlog (sometimes, though his constant ripping on cheaper products annoys me - not all of us have £500 to spend on a multimeter!)
DoubleBoost - mostly machining and steam engines with the odd cottage pie, lovely to watch
Weldingtricksandtips
Project Binky - hilarious and informative, just wish they'd release episodes more frequently (how dare they have actual lives!)
MightyCarMods - Australian modded car channel, some of their episodes are quite informative
Roadkill - Old yank iron, cable ties and duct tape. Top-gear style adventures, but on a budget.
TodayIFoundOut - somewhat amusing random facts, well presented.
EricTheCarGuy - good for general techniques while working on cars, following his Ford Fairmont build with interest.
BigCliveDotCom - hilarious electronics channel focusing on trinkets from Poundland, ebay sex toys and lethal mains powered devices
ElectroBoom - learning lessons about electricity, the painful way. With Mehdi Sadaghdar, who is actually a proper electronics engineer. - who'da thunk it?
Tom's Turbo Garage - cool cars (mainly Japanese, if you like that kind of thing), nicely filmed, all-round cool guy. V8 MX-5 build is especially good.

That's an understatement, TOT is one of the best youtube machinists IMO. He edits out all the dull bits (Like indicating a part) and edits in silly little things (Like a liquor cabinet inside his lathe).

Clickspring is another good one, he's just finished a series making a big brass clock, so you can bingewatch that now if you haven't seen it already.
