As a contrast to the "best tool" thread, how about a tool that was most useless, broke in 5 minutes, did not work or just did not live up to what it claimed to do?
I have 2:
1. Almost any tool from Harbor Freight. Set of metric T-handle ball head hex wrenches. Ball snaps off on any serious use. Now you have a recessed allen head bolt with a ball jammed in its head
2. Sears RoboGrip pliers. Supposed to be a self-adjusting set of channel lock pliers. Well, they just seem to adjust instead of grip. You spend all your time trying to fool them into gripping.
Any more? Who will be the first to vote a SIP MIG
