There wont be anything excessively heavy in there, but im wanting a cosmetic finish - i was planning on using the cheapest tongue and groove laminate for the top layer.
Im planning on using the space for printing, so we're looking at minor point loads from workbenches, rather than heavy machinery vibration.
If you think "home office" sort of finish, rather than "workshop" that is probably the right idea.
Im not going to put insulation etc. in there - that's more than our house has on the ground floor! I basically want to get the job done, so as i can use the space, but, at the same time, i dont want to just waste my time / money.
I could take the lot up, i guess - i just initially thought that id do better leaving it, as its a solid (but not flat, nor level!) surface. Ie good foundation, just on the wonk!
