I have what is probably an old stable, with a cobbled floor.
I want to level up the floor, so I don't have to pack out legs all the time.
I do not want to disturb the cobbles, as they've been there for years, and will be a good, stable base.
I also can't go that thick on top of them, as I'll loose head room.
I'm thinking sand blind, DPM, then a thinish screed. As I say, cobbles are stable, just not level.
How thin a screed can I get away with?
Its not cost, but headroom.
