i know theres been loads of these but i thought id build on for my house due to high fuel prices.
the main burner is made from a 13.5kg gas bottle, surprise surprise, lol
the door has a 3/4 in fire rope seal and so does the chimney pipe,
i couldnt afford to risk breaking a 30 quid piece of stove glass utting it to size and didnt fancy a pyrex dish so opted for a nice 10mm thick steel door with cam style latch to pull it nice and tight,
the chimney is 6.5 in steel pipe angled off at 45. then welded back up to suit my fireplace. it used the top of another gas bottle as a flange to mate with the radius of the top of the main burner.
the hinge pins are made of 8mm silver steel rod and 8mm thick plate.
the left and right vents are simply discs on threads so winding them in reduces air flow.
the moped is one of my other projects i built so i could ride tandem with the kids. they have their own helmets and so do i by the way before anyone asks, lol
i,ll add more pics later as it was the first burn last night as was a bit dark.
hope you like it...
