Hi,
I am on with my first wood burner (19Kg gas bottle) and after my initial problem with the galv coating it's coming on very well. I have taken on-board that wood likes to have the combustion air fed in from above, the chimney is about 3'-6" long X 4" bore,The question is; for maximum burning does the air in let have to equal the chimney bore in square inches?
I am also planning on fitting a couple of secondary air tubes passing thro' the flames and feeding hot air just under the top baffle plate to complete the burning process,Do these secondary air tubes need to be adjustable for flow too?
