Hi
I want to weld steel wire frames with a wire size between 2mm and 4mm.
I've been using a small 'micky mouse' oxy-acetalene set up and brazing, but the cost of replacing the oxygen bottle every few hours is painfull.
Could I do the job with a gas-less MIG set up?
Does anyone know anything about these spot welder attachments for a standard arc-welder? (I have a 130Amp continiously adjustable type.)
I've seen two types of attachment:- one uses standard electrodes (rods), the other uses some kind of 'specials' (they look like copper coated carbon)!
Are they any good at 65 quid a pop?
Any comments or advice would be most welcome!
