Brought a house not too long ago and don't really like how much the Windows open out.
So looked into getting window security latches fitted similar to this friction strap fitted, but smaller.
At a cost of $30 (£24) which would be $60 (£48) a window, say you have 20 Windows in your house by the time you fit security latches to each window it would be getting pretty costly for little latches.
So going making my own ones to save on money with hingers or something, just not that sure how to go about it, just know it's got to have a join of some kind so you can close it and open it easy to a point.
Any suggestions?
