I sold something on ebay recently and included dhl delivery with £50 transit cover. The guy pays me and I dispatch but when it arrives I get an email with pictures of the box stoved in and the thing in peices.
I consult the courier who tell me that if he didn't note the obvious damage when signing for it, or check the contents then no claim can be made. It seems he did neither and signed for it "in good condition.
SO
1.I dispatched in good condition, in a strong box with packing
2.DHL broke it
3.buyer voided the cover by signing for it "in good condition" without looking at it despite the dent in the box
Do I realy have to foot the bill and refund the buyer? I feel like no tbh but I have 100% feedback I don't want to lose not to mention the karma
BUT - it wasn't my fault was it?
