I need to cut and re-angle an exhaust downpipe for one of my cars but have no idea how to weld, previous attempts at MIG welding haven't been too successful.
I have a rockworth gasless mig welder which is as basic as they get I think! One of these: http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.j...refview=search&ts=1237813644461&isSearch=true
So my question is how should i set the settings to get the best result? Slow or Fast wire feed? and 60-90 amps?
I dont know the exact specs of the exhaust metal, I think it is mild steel and probably about 2mm thick.
Any help would be great
