Good evening all, time for a "what welder to buy" from me. I've been a good boy lately so will be getting bit of extra pocket money soon so I will be on the look out for a new AC/DC tig.
My budget is around £1500 to £2500 so I want something decent that will last me a good 10+ years.
I'm only a hobby welder but I don't buy junk so possibly looking at entry level pro machines.
Although the rtec stuff get a good reputation, with my budget I want to hopefully stay away from breathed on Chinese imports.
So my requirements are single phase but I have a dedicated 240v 50 amp supply for my welders
Min 200 amp output AC/DC
Foot pedal
Torch included
Possibly water cooler
Was thinking about the Tecarc opti tig as they are local but don't know what they cost.
Also thinking about the Parweld xt202 but my budget may get me something better?
Over to you guys......
