Hi there everyone,
Im new on here but not new to the welding.
I have done welding for 21yrs so can do a bit, but now looking to do the car body work so the thickness i used to are going to be a bit different to what i am used to.
I will be working in the garage from my home to repare camper vans and other cars etc, been working on them for a bit an we all help each other out but now want to have a go at doing the body work myself as i can not afford to take it to someone to rip my arm off... so what do i go for, looking for a mig gas welder 230v for plugin, welding up to 5mm or so for max but got to have adjustable voltage for fine tune and wire feed adjustment.
I can not afford a top of the range but dont want something that will break etc in the first year, also the nozzles and tips need to be easy to get hold of.
Any more info will be great as this is a different avenue i am used to.
Paddy.
