I'm looking to get something a bit fancy for the workshop, but I'm out of the loop on new machines and tbh I don't want to get bodged down in the details.
I currently own a Kemppi Kempact 3ph RA 253A as my main machine, and a small Lincoln Electric Speedtec 200c hobby thing that I use for 0.6 wire only.
My requirement are as followed.
- Must be able to do pulse and double pulse
- reliable (so name brand, not ebay ****)
- Alloy welding
-Water cooled
- 350+ amps
-Inverter type
- synergic programs
-has different gas types
-no soft start crap on wire feed
-5meter
Looking for something smarter then just a basic welder etc.
The main use will be for roll cages and fabrication, so will also need it to be able to lower range stuff well too.
I'm going to be selling both my Kemppi Mig and my Lincoln Electric Mig.
From my experience with this Lincoln Electric I do not like the machine, this puts me off one of the upper models but I don't know if they are the same or just like this.
So the likes of Kemppi, Lincoln Electric, Fronius etc
I would just buy another Kemppi because I've had no issues with mine, but I've heard of other people having issues etc and some say they are a bit long in the tooth now.
open to suggestions
