Hiya
I tried searching, but didn't find quite what I was looking for.
I want to try my hand at brazing steel. Can you please advise what flux I should use? Screwfix have a range, would any of theirs be suitable? I'm unsure if the gooey stuff used for soldering is suitable?
I tried brazing at school (many years ago), and from memory, the flux was in a powder form.
I see both Screwfix and Halfords sell coated brazing rods, but like gas-less mig wire, I'm guessing that's a much more expensive way of doing it?
Thanks, and apologies if this is tediously well-trodden ground!
EDIT - I mention Screwfix as there's one conveniently close to me, so would be handy if they do stock a suitable product!
