We're kitting out a new training room at work and we needed a stand to raise the projector up off the desk - seemed like a perfect project for my new R-Tech
So got into the garage and boy, what a tip! Spent a couple of hours tidying and reorganising and even took pics of all the old welders that I need to sell to help pay for the new one
Finally got round to making the stand and it came out really well, I thought. I'm only a hobbyist so it's not up to the standards of most folks on here but it seems solid and straight enough.
Lots of plasma cutting, and the new welder was simply awesome.
And the best bit...? I literally had 5cm of weld left to do and ran out of wire! But just switched the R-Tech over to stick and finished the last section with a bit of arc-welding - fabulous
This is the finished article;
Particularly proud of my heavy duty fixings;
A good day Now I need to get the for-sale ads up...
