In the time frame you have and you want to receive a certificate at end of it in my opinion MIG is your best bet. Most courses I've seen on tig/arc to get a certificate at end of it are 6-20 weeks long on the shorter spectrum.seen some for 48 weeks.Hooe you find something suited to you.Thank you very much to answer and to give me the logical idea to specify more than I have done, sorry.
I would like to do a course of arc welding with coated electrode, M.I.G., M.A.G., or T.I.G. or if it was possible one of some of these welding procedures in the same course.
I would like a high level or medium but I could be interested in a beginer too if there were not a high or medium level. For me would be very interesting too learning English, both technical related to welding and colloquial

ThanksIt looks like you're only wanting to gain the nvq side of the qualification, where as with a full time course you would gain the tech cert diploma.
I'm currently studying a level 3 diploma in engineering technologies (fab weld) at Grimsby Institute / College, I'm on my final academic year as I started on the level 1 course back in 2014 and progressed to level 2 diploma in 2015.
There are entry requirements for level 2 and 3, but none for level 1.
On all three courses do health and safety to the according level, theory which includes science and specific maths on lvl 3 and Pattern development on lvls 2 and 3. As far as practical, level 1 covers stick, mig and tig basics, thermal cutting and simple sheet metal tasks. Level 2 is more advanced mig, tig and sheet work. Level 3 is positional mig, tig and stick. Pipework and platework and work experience.
