Hi there, Firstly, I've just signed up to the forums, my name is Si. My daughter wants her exhaust welding on her Renault Clio, I've started doing as much as I can with bits that are off the car, I've welded other stuff before, BUT, it generally comes out very spattery (is that a word it looks like pigeon poop. Most welds Ive done have not lasted very long. I have a flux core, and I'm using .8 tips and wire. I can't get the consistency correct. I'm definitely not doing something right. And it doesn't help that the writing and stuff for the settings on the front are hard to suss out. Any tips and advice. I'd love a sealey suipermig welder or similar. But basically I don't want the exhaust droping off as soon as she gets off the driveway. Thanks in advance, Si
