Our buggy has lasted well. But this crack has appeared and spells the end of its useful life unless it can be fixed.
I'm almost certain this will be too thin to arc weld (I have a 180A Parker inverter welder). It's 1.3mm as shown in image.
Since I don't have access to a MIG, could I insert another piece of tube or solid steel inside the cracked tube and arc weld that like a thicker piece of material?
