Well folks.
I can weld a bit, but usally borrow welders. I bought a rusty Capri recently, and want to do some welding on it, as well as doing the odd trailer, gate, etc. for my uncle on his farm. I was thinking of something rated to 180amp or so (maybe even higher?), for the heavier steel in trailers and that sort of thing. Obviously I want it to be able to be used lightly enough to work on car steel too. I don't have an unlimited budget, obviously, but any advice on what sort of thing to look at would be good.
Thanks
