Have you investigated your BMW Dealer? They ought still be able to get them to special order afaik.
What size are they, M8/M10?
If you have no luck sourcing them you could make new ones.
Use a piece of plate as a die and drill a hole in it, (hole = 2 x material thickness + minor diameter of fixing (tapping drill size)).
For a punch use either a piece of silver steel or an existing parallel punch with a point ground on the end, this needs to be the same diameter as the minor diameter of the fixing.
I have even used the unthreaded portions of high grade bolts as punches in the past, normally for short run stuff.
It helps if you have a fairly high speed press for this kind of work, like a mechanical or flypress but for small stuff a solid base and a BFH also works although getting the punch central to the die is the hard part.
This might not apply, I missed the bit about them being welded to the panel, unless they have their own part number(s) here http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select?product=P&archive=1&series=114
EDIT: Well, I might be wrong - these apply to my model http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=NA72-EUR-06-2003-E60-BMW-530i&diagId=41_1468 but it looks like something along the lines of #3 might be what you need for your 2002.
Thanks mate, I'll check it out at my local dealers. What car do you have ?
Yours'll probably be worth more than mine when you're done 'though.
Good luck and keep the updates coming.
