It's an old frame, but the lock area was still fine, just the bottom and a few holes on the bit below the window.
I replaced the bottom, which was easy enough, and I'm going to let it stew in the electrolysis for a while and then send it for dipping.
It's a bit of an experiment. It's not the one on the car, but a "spare" I've ended up with.
It might warp all over the place or it might be fine. I guess I'll find out! If it works, I'll do the ones on the car, as I'm not spending £500 a hit on new ones!
I might weld in mounts for central locking actuators before getting them dipped too.
