right then, I have had a browse but cant find an answer that fully helps me
with a weather vane, which bit turns in the wind? the sheet steel 'image' on top, or the bit with the letters on.
secondly, how do you make sure which ever bit turns, is pointing where the wind goes? and not where it came from, or even perpendicular to where it is going/come from?
I am ok with the pivot, got shed loads of sealed bearings so will be using 2 of those pressed into some pipe, and then a bar through the middle.
