Been looking at lower amperage machines as I only have a 13amp supply. Won't ever need to use anything above 3.2mm rods so not too worried. I have a limited budget so the better stuff can be ruled out straight away. Been looking at the GYS Gysmi 130p , Green Line 130a (same as Gysmi), and the R-Tech Pro-Arc 135. Won't get worked hard but poor duty cycle still worries me. I've also seen Parkerbrand machines cheap on eBay and could afford a 160 amp machine but there's not much info about on them. Parweld and Jasic lower end machines might just about be affordable. Is it a case of just buy one as they're all similar specs or are there ones to give a wide berth and ones that are much better? Any advice particularly from people who have used or owned any of the above would be greatly appreciated. I'm not new to welding, having passed my City & Guilds 35 years ago. Only used Oxford oil cooled machines and a couple of horrible cheapo SIP buzz boxes. Inverters are completely new to me.
