Hi ,
I have a Welding Motor Generator of out put DC 320 Amps,This is now used for Stick welding .
I would like to know if I can use this Motor Generator as a Power source for MIG Welding ?
What are the additional components that are required to do this attachment to this Motor Generator unit so that I can use this also as a MIG welding Unit ?
Welding Motor Generator Technical Details :
Voltage Volts 415 / 3 Phase / 50 Hz
Power Kw/HP 14 KW
Speed rpm 3000
Starting — Star/Delta starter
OUTPUT:
Open circuit voltage Volts 100
Welding current range Amps 35-320 ( DC )
Welding current:
@ 60% duty cycle Amps 320
@ 100% duty cycle Amps 250
Welding electrode range mm 2.5-6.3
Can any of you advice me how this can be done ? I have attached a Photo of this Unit.
Thanks
Best Regards
John
