Hey lads iv been doing some reading up and found my way to this site. I'm after some advice on welding my custom turbo manifold and have a few questions. Iv looking to build it out of mild steel, I'm not fussed about stainless as it won't be in view.
The T4 divided flange iv got is made from A572 steel will this be ok to be welded to mild steel?? what would be the best gauge mild steel to use??
Also will my SIP Handymate hobby welder be up to the job? would 0.8 wire be good to use and would argon mix be the best to use?
this is what I'm looking to build
