Hello all...
bit cheeky to ask, but I guess if you don't ask, you don't get.
I have just seen some photos of someone having a go at TIG for the first time and got some really nice welds, most of the following comments were to say that having someone there showing techniques, setting up and correcting on the go is a huge difference when starting... so....
I've had my Lincoln TIG for over a year, I keep practicing but my results are very inconsistent.. sometimes it comes out really nice, other times is a right mess, can't control the pool, filler rod curls up, a right nightmare.
So I was wondering it there's anyone local to Andover, Hampshire that would be willing to spent a little time just showing me? tea..coffee..beer... anything will be provided, I'll even pay for a lesson if I have to.
just getting frustrated that sometimes I spend ages building something to then mess it all up when the time comes to weld..
cheers
JP
