Hi all, I have a very old tradesmig 165, on the front control panel there are four rotary controls for wire speed, current etc, between these controls are 2 rectangular buttons one green and one red, these are not the on off switch which is top left as you look at the machine or the fault light next to it,
anyway the red button is lit up, if I push said button the wire feed speed accelerates so I`m guessing its the "inch" button.
Can someone confirm what the button is and why its alight as it wasn`t previously, I have spoken to Murex direct but they weren`t able to help and the diagrams online do not equate exactly to my machine.
