Hello,
I have a Chicago Electric Flux Mig 110 that's done me well over the years for the small projects I do. The liner recently went bad so I ordered a new torch assembly as the price was right. However the replacement has one more wire (thin blue) than the original. In other words the original had a fat black and a thin black whereas the replacement has a fat black along with a thin blue and thin black. The fat black wire plugs into the front of the welder + or - depending on gas or no gas.
As the original went thin black on the torch to thin black on the welder I wired those together and tried it out. The welder did not blow but the welder would not feed. Now I'm thinking the thin blue wire needs to be connected but I'm not sure about that.
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks
