Well, you may remember I dug some of this out of the skip at work when the fitters were having a clear out. In the meantime, I've stripped it, re-greased the bearings
Made a diamond holder to dress the wheel.
Mounting made to fit it to the tool post
The plate is to bring it to centre height.
Had to buy a motor (£30 EBay bargain) and made the motor mount.
Turned the motor pulley up. Cutting the keyway was a PITA as it is blind. I may convert it to a taper lock style as I bored the hole 0.02mm over size
Drive fully working, bought the belt, need another one for driving the internal quill.
Thought I'd better do a bit more welding so made up a belt guard
Now it's fully functioning as a tool-post grinder (although I may fit a finer wheel as this one seems coarse). I'm going to make it dual use and make a jig to allow me to grind milling cutters.
