just come in from a bit of a job I been asked to make a base for a 2post lift and had to get a piece of steel plate from where I made it and into a barn the plate is 4M long x 3.01M wide 3/4 ish thick the only problem is the 9ft high gates into the hall were 10 ft the exact width of the plate at a 40deg angle on my trailer , it was interesting going up the lane to the hall !! and then the barn doors where 9ft so had to pull the plate up with a block and tackle to about 50 deg by hand as the mini digger couldnt lift it. I then could block it up on a tressle on the trailer
I then had to jack the trailer up to get the wheels over the entrance floor blocks you can see them at the base of the door pillars , which where about 200 mm high took me 3hrs from home to deliver it into the barn, by hand, on my own, the misses went as outrider stopping people up the lane and then left to watch emerdale ( much more important ) judith the care taker turned up at the last minute
