hi! whats yr views on these tig welders, this is my 1st tig, jst really playing about, welding manifolds, exh etc
1st one is a PARWELD XTI180P, 2nd one is a HYPA-TEC!
all views welcome. both for sale on ebay.
Thats a bit harsh is it not niner, as you should no, some work better than others, hence the lads request for advice! Reidy, there is a section below this one regarding plant purchase, maybe help a little to start there.
Parweld have been around for a while, the other I've never heard of, you could do no wrong checking out weldequips shop contained within this forum.
Not the most helpful of answers there Asme.
Reidy, can you post links to them rather than just the names please? It saves people having to search for them and will give you more chance of decent answers.
Fwiw, Parweld are a very reputable company but I've never seen the name 'Hypa-tec' mentioned anywhere.
Edit: Runnach beat me to it.
Edit again: Hypa-tec is generic mass-imported chinese stuff, pot luck whether it'll last or if you'll get decent aftersales support.
If it's a choice of just those two brands then I'd probably go Parweld but there might be others within your budget too.
AFAIK both machines are Chinese manufactured. So if they are of simerla price, I would opt for the Parweld as they have a good back up service in the UK.
But as the others said, check out the forum shop before parting with any money.
