Watcha people,
Could anyone give me some advice on Tig Tacking T-joints please?
Lap & butt joints seem to go ok for me
I have a 200A DC inverter without a foot pedal.
Is the best method to set the upslope to 0 and hit it quick on the button?
Downslope?
Filler rod?
I saw Hotrodders excellent arc length thread and he didn't appear to use filler on the tack. Although he was using 3mm (note to self, get some to play with)
I'm mainly going to use if on thin (bodywork) steels. Having a good time with it so far, but tacked using the mig on the vehicle.
Almost like O/A which I loved doing, piece and quiet, no hot sparks.
Thanks
