I am planning building a small log burner heater for my shed (140ft2)to keep things toasty in the winter and am stuck how to get the flue through the roof. Commercially available insulated flue products seem very expensive and as I'm on a budget I wonder if a home made flue method is possible? The roof is 1/2 inch particle board with bitumen felt stuck on, so easy to catch on fire as you could imagine.
Probably going to use the burner in the evening for a couple of hours so not too worried how much fuel it would use but don't really want to blow smoke over neighbouring gardens either so not sure what style to make.
I'm seeking information as to what style size and design burner and flue to make and rely on the very leaned folk on here to suggest. Thanks for
