That's got me thinking - wonder if I could use my mag drill cutters in the lathe? All it needs is some sort of adapter that fits in the tailstock.
Not something I'd use everyday, but handy if I ever need any thick washers!
I've driven past Modern Screws literally hundreds of times, and I pass within a mile of it nearly everyday, but I've never thought of popping in! I'll have to stop off and have a look one of these days.
I find them a bit expensive compared to XR but as I say they're handy. They have a website too now. The shop has an old school feel to it which is nice. Seem to recall they maybe specialize in small stuff like watch & clock making screws. I usually park up in Baldwyn's Park (Road?) and walk round the corner.
